June 2014 marks the 30th anniversary of Operation "Blue Star" also know as "Ghallughara" which was an Indian military operation which took place June of 1984. The operation was ordered by Prime Minister Indira Gandhi in order to establish control over the Harmandir Sahib Complex in Amritsar, Punjab. An act which many Sikhs see as an injustice against their faith and holiest of shrines, the Golden Temple.
