Bhagat Singh Library

Bhagat Singh Ji was born on September 28, 1907 and is an influential revolutionary in the Indian independence movement. He is often referred to as Shaheed Bhagat Singh Ji, meaning martyr. Bhagat Singh Ji is remembered for his revenge murder of a British police officer, his 116 day hunger strike in jail for equal rights and his hanging at the young age of 23 years old. His legacy has encouraged youth in India to fight for Indian independence.
