Mai Bhago, also known as Mata Bhag Kaur, is considered a saint by Sikhs. She came from a family of devoted and dedicated Sikhs and carried on with that genealogy. She led Sikh soldiers against the Mughals in 1705 and killed several enemy soldiers on the battlefield. Guru Gobind Singh Ji took her under his care as she was wounded in this battle. In turn, Mai Bhago was a bodyguard for Guru Gobind Singh Ji.
